There are no pre-requisites to commencing the course so it’s ideal for beginners with little knowledge of computers.  The CompTIA Strata Fundamentals course is the ideal starter course for pursuing the CompTIA career path.  The Strata course can used as a stepping stone to the CompTIA A+ qualification and then onto the CompTIA Network+.

Qualifications

In order to attain the CompTIA Strata Fundamentals certificate you will be required to complete a number of assignments during the course.  These will be assessed by your dedicated personal tutor who will provide you with valuable feedback.  Once you have completed the assignments and course materials you will be required to sit an online exam at a local test centre.

Successful completion of the CompTIA Strata Fundamentals course sees you awarded with the CompTIA Strata Fundamentals of PC Functionality (FC0 -U11) Certificate.

Study Details

The course has been designed in a logical order so not only can you learn at a pace comfortable to you but so you can build on the knowledge you have already gained when you move onto the next topic.

The course materials are made up of 2 different study modules.  As you work your way through thr course you will be required to complete 23 assignments. Once you have completed an assignment you should send it to your tutor who will assess your progress and provide you with useful feedback.

In order to successfully complete the Strata Fundamentals course you will be required to sit an online exam to be taken at a Prometric or Pearson Vue Centre.

The average student is able to complete the CompTIA Strata Fundamentals of PC Functionality course with approximately 90 hours of study time.
