Course Details
The Enterprise Desktop Administrator course will provide students with Microsoft qualifications at both Level 2 and Level 3 - Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) & Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP).
As you work towards the MCTS in Windows 7 certification you will learn the knowledge and skills required to provide end users with peak performance on a Windows 7 operating system by configuration. To ensure maximum performance you will learn how to install, configure and manage the network, applications and security. The skills acquired in the MCTS module will prepare you to undertake roles such as first line support for Windows 7 business users.
Next, you will progress to the Microsoft Certified IT Professional module and expand on the skills attained in the previous study module. You will learn how to maintain and support larger sized Windows 7 business environments. You will also learn about the configuration and maintenance needs of Windows 7 Clients, deployment services and application compatibility.
Entry requirement: Appropriate MTA qualification, CompTIA A+ or Network+ or similar Level 2 qualification in IT.
